Sure as hell wouldn;t be the first time and won't be the last. lol And as already stated, each rifle is different. So, finding a powder for .223 is one thing, the other is finding what works in and or what your rifle likes best. Powders like H4895 or IMR4895 work in both .223 Remington (to include 5.56 NATO) and .308 Winchester but I can't seem to get a works best in all. Even with that said within for example the .308 Winchester family my gas guns (AR-10 and M1A) work very well with IMR4064 and IMR4895 but I get my best bolt gun results with AA2495. Not much internet love for 748, but per my extensive data, W748 is an excellent and versatile 308,.223 bolt, and 5.56 gas gun powder. A close second favorite is 8208 XBR.
